Artist's Comments

As always, it takes ages for me to finish anything. Procrastination is a hobby of mine.

Lesson for the day: Uneven strokes are wristlocking-fingernumbing fun to do when accomplished using shapes, and not brushes. If you want it done easier, use a shaped brush (like in Illustrator). Otherwise, you'll want exact control where your stroke becomes thicker, and how it thins out. I'm not sure I'd want to continue doing stuff in this manner, but I guess it's a case-to-case basis.

I really am not familiar with vector graphics things so i really am not qualified to critic this. But for me, it is absolutely beautiful. I say you have a thing for subtlety and fine details especially with those shadows. if were to rate this, its more than a 10++.

yeowza... the image is.... damn gorgeous. I really like the transparency on the arm ties and the subtle shading uve done all over the dress. It all seems to go together so well. Im at a loss for words *and thats rare for me cuz im a jabber jaw D:*

Good work, the subtle shading on the dress is great. I agree that it is cool to make your own shapes when creating lines with illustrator. However, it's too time consuming and does not really make much of a difference on the final result. Custom brushes are in my mind, the greater tool.

Yeah, my being obsessive-complulsive blinds me from the more convenient methods . Thanks for the insight. :)
